Important boundary

UYB is not emergency support.

If someone may hurt themselves, hurt someone else, is being abused, or is in immediate danger, stop using UYB for that moment and contact local emergency services or a trusted adult right away.

Can a child or teen use UYB?

UYB can support family reflection, but kids and teens should use it with appropriate adult guidance, consent, and clear expectations. It should never be used for secret monitoring.

What should we do if a journal brings up something serious?

Pause the journal and get real help from a trusted adult, professional, emergency service, or crisis resource. UYB is not emergency support or crisis monitoring.

Can someone read my draft before I save it?

No. Drafts are private to the person writing. Paired reveals open only after both people save their own answer.

Should UYB replace therapy or family counseling?

No. UYB is a private guided journaling product. It is not therapy, diagnosis, legal advice, medical advice, or professional care.
